Piece Of This
P.O.T

Farewell to my friends,
Thought I'd leave you all behind, yeah oh no.
My time is runnin
And I'm about to lose my mind again.

Now and then, I tremble all over
But I will carry the load upon my shoulder,
But I know this would all be over
If only I could open my eyes.

Is it loneliness?
Maybe emptiness?
Maybe melancholy.
Have a piece of this.
Now I see the sunlight shining through
There's no reason to be blue, but,
Now I know I'm going down,
I look all around me and laugh like a clown.

Now and then, I tremble all over
But I will carry the load upon my shoulder,
But I know this would all be over
If only I could open my eyes.

Is it loneliness?
Maybe emptiness?
Maybe melancholy.
Have a piece of this.

Can anybody help me when I'm down?
And anybody since I'm just a clown,
But now I know love will stick around
Cause I've been lost and found.

Now I see the sunlight shining through
There's no reason to be blue, but,
Now I know I'm going down,
I look all around me, no I won't frown.

Now and then, I tremble all over
But I will carry the load upon my shoulder,
But I know this would all be over
As soon as I open my eyes.

No more loneliness.
No more emptiness.
No more melancholy, baby.
Have a piece of this.

Music Career: Roy began his career in the early 1990s as lead singer of the alternative group Advent Call, but did not become well known to the general public until after founding another rock band P.O.T. in 1996, when the group had a major hit with "Yugyugan Na" [Time to shake], a cover of a song by the band The Philippine Advisors. P.O.T. officially disbanded in 2005. Two years prior, he formed a new group named Kapatid together with Nathan Azarcon (bass), J-Hoon Balbuena (drums), Ira Cruz (guitar) and Chico Molina (guitar). With Kapatid, he released the albums Kapatid (2003) and Luha (2006). Although Roy never scored another big hit after "Yugyugan Na", his rock image made him a crowd favorite. He was also popularly known for his eccentric behavior while performing on stage. In September 2007, shortly after returning home from the recording of a TV commercial for San Miguel's Red Horse Beer, Roy suffered a stroke, paralyzing the right side of his body. He recovered, however, and rejoined Kapatid. In 2008, a benefit concert was mounted for Roy, who had suffered from multiple strokes.(Wikipedia)
